Can't remember the name of an old PC game.?

It was played about 10 years ago or more. It was a strategy type game and you had to build up colonies of yellow monsters. I think the scenery was desert like but cannot completely remember. i think the case was blue with a yellow and orange creature on the front. Some monsters also had orange details. Much thanks.

Of all the places I've been to, I would rate New Zealand on top because you can see so much contrast on the two islands - from the volcanoes, thermal mud pools and geysers in the north to Fjord and glacier in the south, as well as white to black sand beaches, plus many almost untouched natural landscape that guarantees some of the world's most awesome scenery. It is no wonder so many films were shot in New Zealand, including The Lord of the Rings.
