Found some Bird eggs; Black bird eggs. Possibly abandoned?

Just leave the nest there..just because you checked a couple times and saw no activitiy means nothing. This could very well be an active nest or it could be old. Wait about 2 weeks or so and then check it for chicks. If the eggs hatch you will know it is active..if not..then you know it is an old or abandoned nest. Hold off on trimming until then. You can watch the nest CONTINUALLY for at least an hour for a bird either coming off the nest or going to it to be sure. Do not attempt to incubate these eggs yourself as someone else mentioned..this is illegal.
